It would seem that by setting up a company and hiding behind the limited liability status, you can pay yourself a more than favourable salary while ripping innocent members of the public off. While traditionally a limited company has been a sign that a company is trustworthy, this is no longer the case. Almost anyone can buy a ready made limited companies from the internet for £35 and have the registered address pointing to a 3rd party "Management address" for a small additional fee.
